Briarwood School Ofsted
As you are aware, Briarwood School received an inspection from Ofsted on the 24th and 25th May 2023. This was an ungraded inspection, which means that the inspectors were looking to ensure that the school is still a good school. I now have the pleasure of sharing the final report with you which confirms that Briarwood is still a good school, but goes further to suggest that had this been a full graded inspection, there was enough evidence to suggest that the school might be Outstanding. Ofsted will revisit in about a year’s time to do a full inspection to see if the grading of the school should change.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our families for the support you have, and continue to offer to the school. As the report says, Briarwood is a very special place and that is made possible through the partnerships we have with families and the community.
